StockTwits for Newbies
If you are new to StockTwits, these steps will help you get started. If anything is unclear or you have any other questions at all, please comment on this blog post and we and our community will reply in short order.
1. If you do not yet have a Twitter account, you must sign up for one to login to StockTwits. You can do that here.
2. Log in to StockTwits using your user i.d. and password from your Twitter account. You can do that here.
3. To post to the StockTwits feed you must either preceed a stock ticker w a dollar sign like this $AMZN.
Or, if you are making a market related comment without a ticker in it, you can add two dollar signs at the end of your tweet like this. $$

4. Here is a link to users that StockTwits highly recommends. You can scroll through, survey and follow the ones you like. Its a great group.
5. If you would like StockTwits to run in a continuous feed click My Settings at the top right of the web page, check Auto Refresh and save settings. Its very cool.
